What to Expect During Treatment
Dermal filler injections with the RHA Collection is a quick, convenient procedure that can be done during an in-office visit. First, you’ll meet with our highly experienced aesthetic team, who will listen to your concerns, evaluate your facial anatomy and determine which RHA filler(s) are best suited to achieving your desired results. Additional treatments or services may also be recommended at this time, depending on your individual needs and treatment goals.
Once the treatment plan has been developed, the injection process begins. Your provider may first apply ice or a topical numbing cream to optimize your comfort during the procedure. The RHA fillers themselves also contain lidocaine to minimize pain. Next, using an ultra-fine needle, your provider will carefully administer the RHA filler into targeted areas with a series of injections, the depth and location of which will vary from person to person. After injecting, the area may be gently massaged to evenly distribute the filler beneath the skin.
For most patients, the treatment process takes about 15 to 30 minutes to complete. You may experience some minor bruising or redness at the various injection sites, but this typically resolves within a few days.
