What to Expect During Treatment

Many Juvéderm formulas include lidocaine to maintain your comfort during the treatment. Additionally, we apply a topical numbing agent for extra relief, and you can unwind in one of our luxurious massage chairs while it takes effect.
When you’re ready for the injections, your provider will administer Juvéderm using a fine needle. The process is precise and targeted, with a focus on natural-looking results. While you may feel a slight sensation or pressure as the filler is injected, most of our clients find the procedure quite tolerable.
Juvéderm® Recovery and Results
You are free to return to your daily activities after your Juvéderm treatment. There is no required downtime. Aftercare instructions are minimal, though we advise avoiding makeup, strenuous exercise and excessive heat exposure for 24 hours post-treatment to optimize healing.
Some clients experience mild redness, swelling or tenderness at the injection sites. These side effects typically resolve within a few days, and you may apply a cold compress to the treated area if you experience any discomfort.
The volume-enhancing effects of Juvéderm are visible immediately after treatment. Your results will continue to settle and refine as the filler integrates with your natural tissue over the next two weeks. On average, Juvéderm results can last from 6 months to over a year.
